De Koningh has been a well-known brand name for more than a hundred years nationally and internationally with its different subsidiaries in various sectors. De Koningh Food Equipment, manufacturer of the DEKO slicing machines, is an essential component of this.
The other subsidiaries of De Koningh are the following:
- Medical Systems Design and production of medical equipment
- Coding & Packaging Services and resale of coding solutions for packaging
- Marking Service Services for marking surfaces using laser technology.
Berkel takeover
De Koningh Food Equipment took over the intellectual property of the globally renowned “Berkel” brand name in 2004. Since then, the know-how, drawings, moulds, designs, technologies and equipment have been in our possession. The production of the machines was moved from Rotterdam to De Koningh in Arnhem. Personnel was also taken over. The “Berkel” brand name was sold to another party.
